Passive Houses place no limits on creativity
Passivhaus — from concept to design, from design to construction

“Passive Houses do not limit creativity in any way whatsoever.”
That is what I said in an interview with the Passivhaus Portugal in 2023 — and this project is yet another example.
Construction of a new house designed to achieve Passive House certification will begin shortly. This time, it is a single-storey home that seeks to fulfil the client’s vision by creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. While maintaining a clear focus on comfort and everyday living, the project follows the same principles that define our previously certified projects.
Bioclimatic design, architecture, construction quality, and system compatibility are inseparable components of a holistic design approach, demonstrating that it is not only possible, but highly desirable, to combine aesthetics, comfort, construction quality, functionality, and energy efficiency.
Passive House is a building concept that establishes a high-performance standard, delivering buildings that are energy-efficient, healthy, comfortable, affordable to operate, and environmentally sustainable.
